Independent Bookstore Day 2026

Independent Bookstore Day is a one-day national party that takes place at indie bookstores across the country on the last Saturday in April. Every store is unique and independent, and every party is different. Monarch Books and Boutique is celebrating by offering a whole day full of fun celebrations!

For the whole week before, we will be collecting entries for an AWESOME drawing - a special Monarch-style basket of books, goodies, merch (did you know Caitlin loves a good basket giveaway?) Check out our awesome Enchanted Lounge and be inspired to create your very own Dragon Bookmark. We will have all the greatest creating supplies to bring your own dragon to life so it can live in your favorite book. Bring your whole family!
