About the event
Every year, thousands of books are challenged or banned in schools and libraries across the country. These are often the very titles that helped readers see themselves for the first time, or see the world through someone else's eyes. Banned Books Week is our chance to celebrate the freedom to read.
This week, Monarch Books & Boutique is offering 10% off every title on our in-store Banned Books.
Stop in, browse our curated banned books display, and take home a story someone tried to take off the shelf. Every book you buy is a small vote for the freedom to read whatever we choose.

Books shouldn't be silenced. Let's read them anyway.
